Love them at Our Best ...!!!

Once upon a time....

There was a rich King who had 4 wives.

He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.

He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidante and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her to help him get through the difficult times.

The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short.

He thought of his luxurious life and pondered, "I now have 4 wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"

"No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.

Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?"

"No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good!
When you die, I'm going to remarry!"

His heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me? And keep me company?"

"I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave."

Her answer came like a bolt of thunder and the King was devastated.

Then a voice called out:

"I'll leave with you and follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, she suffered from malnutrition.

Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"

In Truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives ...

Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.

Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth.
When we die, it will all go to others.

Our 2nd wife is our friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

And our 1st wife is our Parents,

Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the ego. However, our Parents are the only thing that will follow us and guide wherever we go.

So Love them at our best ..... They need and Love you most!!!
You are their greatest gift

Let them Smile and cherish...

Life is about carrying on with odds till everything becomes even.

THE PATRIOT AND THE HOOLIGAN CHIEF

There was a great patriot who conquered everyone's heart in India, especially the Bengali's. He was known as the leader of great leaders. When he was in college he was a brilliant student. He had always had a fondness for spiritual people. He helped the poor, the sick and the needy whenever he could.

Once when he was a young man, cholera broke out in Calcutta and the rich people left the city. When the epidemic broke out, there was no medical treatment for the poor, so he went to the poorest section of town and treated the sick.

There were many hooligans in that part of town. They threatened him and said, "Don't come here and bother us. We don't want you. You're well educated and come from a rich family, while we are poor and ignorant. Leave us alone." Bravely, he replied, "Do whatever you want. If you want to kill me, kill me. I've come into the world to help the poor and sick. I'll continue to bring money and food and try to help as much as I can."

One day the only son of the hooligan leader was stricken with cholera. So the young man went to his house and cared for the son, feeding him and giving him medical treatment. The hooligan leader was deeply moved. "I threatened you and warned you not to come here, and still you come to help my own son. You're a brave man."

The young man said, "It's not a matter of bravery; it's a matter of necessity. I see God in everyone. When I see someone suffering, I feel it is my duty to help. One must help one's brother when he is in need."

The hooligan chief bowed down to the young man and said, "You're not human. You are divine."

This matchless leader and patriot was none other than

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Simple

Strange but true -

We wish to earn loads of money, but we have the best of times only when we have just 10 bucks in pocket...

We wish to wear branded clothes, but we feel most comfortable in a smpl 1
....
We wish to sit in Taj and Marriot with elite people, but we enjoy roadside vendor food with friends the most...

We wish to own big cars and go on long drives yet we talk our heart out only while walking down a long road...

We have 64GB ipods filled with songs, but sometimes a song on the radio brings a smile that cant be compared...

Life is simple indeed !!

We make it complex.

Puppies For Sale

A store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read "Puppies For Sale." Signs like that have a way of attracting small children, and sure enough, a little boy appeared under the store owner's sign. "How much are you going to sell the puppies for?" he asked.

The store owner replied, "Anywhere from $30 to $50."

The little boy reached in his pocket and pulled out some change. "I have $2.37," he said. "Can I please look at them?"

The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.

One puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said, "What's wrong with that little dog?"

The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered it didn't have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame.

The little boy became excited. "That is the puppy that I want to buy."

The store owner said, "No, you don't want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I'll just give him to you."

The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger, and said, "I don't want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price. In fact, I'll give you $2.37 now, and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for."

The store owner countered, "You really don't want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies."

To his surprise, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the store owner and softly replied, "Well, I don't run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands!"

We ALL need someone who understands!

POSITIVE THINKING

Once there was loving couple travelling in a bus in a mountainous area. They decided to get down at some place. After the couple got down at some place the bus moved on, As the bus moved on, a huge rock fell on the bus from the mountain and crushed the bus to crumbs. Everybody on board was killed. The couple upon seeing that, said, "We wish we were on that bus"

Why do u think they said that??

If they had remained on the bus instead of deciding to get down, the resulting time delay could have been avoided and the rock would have fallen after the bus had passed ..!!!

Think positive in life always and look for opportunities when you can help Others...

"Many times in life, the opposite of Success is not Failure, its Quitting"
